We have the appeal tomorrow – not sure it’s worth all the hassle actually! Have been told he’ll most probably be put in the WRAG (work related activity group) which means only £28 extra and presumably rent and council tax will want a cut of that. This also means he will have to go to work based interviews as you do on JSA, so not sure now that all the stress has really been worth the rewards. In fact to be honest I don’t give out much hope of winning the appeal. Either way the end result means we are much worse off than before ESA. The struggle to pick yourself up is made much worse when you have to go through all this for a few quid. I’ll let you know how it goes!!
